Campbell Label Will List GMO Ingredients

The Campbell Label, makers of the eponymous soup, Pepperidge Farm and V8, will become the first big food company to label the genetically modified ingredients in their products.  The new labeling will not be in full effect for another 12-18 months, but it marks a departure for Campbell Soup from other major food companies that have resisted GMO labeling for so long. In a further break from its competitors, Campbell Soup has also been calling for federal action to create a uniform system for labeling products that contain genetically modified ingredients.
